The Role

As an Insights Partner for a major Pharmaceutical Commercial Data and Analytics team, you will serve as a strategic advisor and analytics leader supporting one or more Therapeutic Areas (TAs), brands, or business units. This role is pivotal in uncovering actionable insights from complex data sets, driving evidence-based decision-making, and ensuring alignment between commercial strategy and analytics execution. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders in marketing, sales, access, forecasting, and operations, delivering high-impact analytics that shape brand performance and patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Business Partnership

o Act as the primary analytics liaison for assigned brands or therapeutic areas.

o Partner with Commercial and Access teams to identify opportunities and define analytics needs.

o Influence decision-making through clear communication of insights, forecasts, and scenario models.

  • Analytics & Insights Delivery
  • o Design and deliver advanced analytics solutions using a variety of commercial, medical, and access data sources.

    o Synthesize outputs from primary research, secondary data, predictive models, and real-world evidence to generate holistic insights.

    o Support marketing campaign evaluation, omnichannel analytics, patient journey analysis, HCP segmentation, and field force effectiveness.

  • Data Strategy & Integration
  • o Work with data science, data engineering, and reporting teams to ensure data integrity, quality, and relevance.

    o Champion the use of innovative data sources and GenAI / ML capabilities where applicable.

    o Identify gaps in data and collaborate on strategies to close them.

  • Forecasting & Performance Monitoring
  • o Collaborate with forecasting and reporting teams to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for brand health.

    o Contribute to business planning, performance tracking, and quarterly business reviews with key stakeholders.

    Ideal Profile

    Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience in analytics, consulting, or business intelligence within the pharmaceutical / biotech industry OR
  • Master’s degree and 6+ years of relevant experience OR
  • Ph.D. and 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Deep understanding of U.S. pharma commercial model and data sources (e.g., IQVIA, Symphony, APLD, EMR / EHR, claims, Flatiron, field force data).
  • Experience with advanced analytics tools : SQL, Python, Tableau, or similar platforms.
  • Experience of data infrastructure within the AWS ecosystem.
  • Proven ability to connect technical analyses with strategic business context.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills with senior leadership.
  • Ability to thrive in a matrixed environment and manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Exposure to launch planning, brand lifecycle management, and / or real-world evidence studies.
