Job Description

Responsible for designing, developing, and implementing engaging learning experiences and materials to support the growth of d?TERRA's workforce, this position serves as a key contributor to the Learning & Development (L&D) team and a content development resource for HR and other departments. Reporting to and working closely with the Sr. Manager of Company Culture, this role will play a pivotal part in enhancing employee skills, performance, and engagement through creative and effective learning solutions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high-quality instructional content including eLearning modules, instructor-led presentations, microlearning, guides, and job aids using best practices in instructional design and adult learning theory.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) across departmentsespecially HR and other internal teamsto translate technical or conceptual content into clear, engaging, and effective learning materials.
  • Serve as the primary course content creator for the HR team and assist with additional L&D content development projects across departments as needed.
  • Utilize authoring and other learning tools such as Adobe Captivate, Canva, Workday Learning, or similar tools to create and deliver interactive and visually appealing training modules.
  • Support the administration and organization of the Learning Management System (Workday Learning), including uploading courses, tracking learner data, and running reports as needed.
  • Assist in the evaluation of training programs through learner feedback, assessments, and performance outcomes to inform continuous improvement.
  • Ensure that all training content aligns with brand guidelines, company culture, and business objectives.
  • Manage multiple instructional design projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Stay current with emerging trends, tools, and technologies in learning and development and instructional design.

Job Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in a learning and development, instructional design, or training role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Learning Technologies, Human Resources, or related field preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies (e.g., ADDIE, SAM).
  • Proficiency in one or more eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Adobe Captivate, Articulate).
  • Demonstrated experience in developing engaging content across a variety of modalities (digital, instructor-led, blended learning).
  • Working knowledge of LMS systems; basic administration skills preferred.
  • Excellent project and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and quality assurance.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong writing, editing, and visual communication skills.
