As part of its ongoing technology expansion, the firm is seeking a Director of AI & Machine Learning to lead the development and integration of advanced Generative AI systems. This senior leadership role combines hands-on technical expertise with strategic vision, providing the opportunity to define AI roadmaps, architect scalable solutions, and drive innovation across key business functions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure AI initiatives deliver measurable value while shaping the future of technology within the organization. This role is ideal for an experienced engineering leader who thrives at the intersection of AI, product development, and organizational strategy. You will build and mentor a high-performing team, champion best practices in AI engineering, and stay at the forefront of emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation.   • 8+ years of software engineering, with heavy focus in AI / ML systems
  • Ability to build, guide, and scale a high-performing team
  • Hands-on experience with Generative AI : LLMs, fine-tuning, and RAG systems
  • Python and modern ML tools such as PyTorch, Tensorflow, HuggingFace, and LangChain
  • Experience deploying AI solutions into production environments at scale
  • Familiarity with agentic AI platforms
  • Solid understanding of system design, scalability, and cost-efficient architecture
  • Strong product mindset, comfortable defining roadmaps and aligning technical priorities with business goals

What You Will Be Doing Tech Breakdown

  • 70% AI / ML Engineering & Infrastructure (LLMs, RAG, Agentic AI, Python, ML frameworks)
  • 30% Leadership & Strategy (roadmap, team building, cross-functional collaboration)

    • Daily Responsibilities

  • Lead a team driving the end-to-end AI product pipeline, from prototyping to production deployment
  • Architect scalable infrastructure to support rapid experimentation and reliable delivery of AI systems
  • Apply advanced techniques (LLMs, RAG, agentic systems) to build impactful, real-world solutions
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business and user needs into AI-driven products
  • Mentor engineers while promoting best practices in scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency
