Job Title : Cable Install Technician
Location : Onsite – South Bend, IN, US
Duration : 6 Months (Contract)
Pay Rate : $23.50 / hr (W2)
Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Infrastructure Delivery Install Technician (Technical Support Tech I) to join their infrastructure operations team in New Carlisle, IN. This team is responsible for structured cabling, installation of servers and networking equipment, infrastructure inventory, and supporting project-based initiatives across the facility.
Top 3 Must-Have Skills :
Hands-on experience installing, testing, and repairing copper and fiber optic cabling, including patch panels, patch cords, and cable routing according to industry standards.
Proven ability to physically install and move servers, network devices, and racks in a data center environment, including racking, stacking, grounding, labeling, and quality control.
Skilled in using ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow) and communication platforms (e.g., Slack, email) to report status, document changes, and coordinate daily tasks with internal teams and vendors.
