Located 40 mins from downtown Denver and 30 minutes from the foothill areas we are easy to get to and right off of Highway 285. Nestled in an inspiring natural setting, our nonprofit retreat center hosts education groups focused on K-12.

Unlike traditional hospitality environments, The Lone Rock Foundation Retreat is not open 365 days a year. We only host groups up to 60 people and we only flip rooms 2-3 times of week due to our minimum two-night stay. Our calendar aligns with the rhythms of the education community, which often means time off during major holidays like Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s—creating a healthier work-life balance for our team.

POSITION SUMMARY
Raises service standards and touchpoints for our guests and fellow team members. Focuses on guest experience and how the team can continuously create new and memorable moments. Directly supervises all team members on the Event Host Team, assuring a high standard of appearance, hospitality, and service through training and motivation. Has the ability to problem solve and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ability to communicate effectively, respectfully, and professionally with all team members, management, and customers.Ensure the team responds to guest requests as soon as possible but no later than 5 minutes.Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction, area cleanliness and timeliness of service.Respond to guest akia or requests pertaining to event, event activities, rooms set ups and AV.Responsible for maintaining a high level of cleanliness in all event areas.Stock all event areas with plate ware, glasses, utensils, and napkins.Time management skillsPerforms successfully to Lone Rock’s standards in the Event Host position (serving, food running, bussing, and hosting).Administrative duties as assigned. Such as, listed below but not limited to.Creating BEOs
Event Host Scheduling (at least 2 weeks out)Prescheduling Akia messages for guest activitiesCreating seasonal food labelsAssist with Guest Welcomes and Departures, as needed.Partner with DOSE to build out seasonal guest activity programs.Oversees the event host duties and activities.Coaches team members on performance challenges.Escalates performance issues to the DOSE.Partners with DOSE to develop team member performance plans.Positively handle any escalated guest issues during meal events.Be willing and able to cover positions when short staffed.Oversight of stocking, organizing, and product supply during shift.Maintains a calm and professional atmosphere on the floor.Attends weekly one on one with Director of Sales & Events to review operations including. incidents, team member performance, and supply issues.Ensure that all front of the house team members complete their assigned weekly and monthly duties.Ensures team members are taking and punching out for meal breaks. Monitor 15 min break times.Make recommendations for improving and creating efficiency on the team.
