Veterinary Technician at Wave Veterinary Medical Center

Position : Veterinary Technician

Location : Wave Veterinary Medical Center

Employment Type : Full-time

Salary : Competitive, based on experience

We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team! If you are passionate about veterinary medicine, skilled in handling medical procedures, and have a strong work ethic, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities :

  • Perform routine and emergency blood draws with precision and care
  • Place and maintain intravenous catheters
  • Administer medications as prescribed, following proper procedures and dosages
  • Assist veterinarians during surgeries and medical procedures
  • Maintain and update patient medical records accurately
  • Monitor and record patient vital signs
  • Provide excellent care and support to both animals and their owners
  • Ensure a clean and safe work environment for both patients and staff

    • Qualifications :

  • Previous experience as a Veterinary Technician
  • Strong knowledge of veterinary procedures, medication administration, and medical record management
  • Ability to place catheters and draw blood with proficiency
  • Compassionate and attentive care for all animals
  • Familiarity with veterinary medical equipment and technology
  • A Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) certification is preferred but not required
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
