Senior Network Administrator
On-site role in the Grand Rapids, MI area
72k-$92k a year based on experience
This is a senior-level, hands-on technical role responsible for the configuration, optimization, and security of enterprise systems that support the bank's infrastructure and business operations.
Responsibilities of the Senior Network Administrator :
- Administer physical and virtual server environments (Windows, Linux, VMware, Hyper-V)
- Optimize systems for performance, scalability, and uptime
- Manage enterprise services including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
- Lead infrastructure projects, including deployments, upgrades, and cloud migrations
- Support backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning
- Implement and monitor IT security systems including antivirus, patching, and firewalls
- Collaborate across teams to align systems with business needs and compliance standards
- Mentor junior team members and provide technical escalation support
- Maintain infrastructure documentation and generate performance reports
- Coordinate with vendors on contracts, support, and procurement initiatives
