Essential duties and Responsibilities :
- Confers with management and supervisors to identify personnel needs, job specifications, job duties, qualifications, and skills
- Write job descriptions and job postings and review and edits job descriptions and postings
- Develops recruitment programs, budgets, and collateral to attract applicants and to fill specific job openings
- Develop and maintain network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates
- Initiate contact with possible qualified candidates for specific job openings
- Review applications and interview applicants to obtain work history, education, training, job skills, and salary requirements, and to provide information about the organization and position
- Screen and refer candidates for additional interviews with others in organization
- Develop recruitment programs, budgets, and collateral, such as brochures about the organization and its opportunities
- Writes and places job advertising in various media
- Makes public presentations at schools, organizations, and job fairs regarding the organization and opportunities
- Works with external recruiters and employment agencies to identify and recruit candidates
- Utilizes Internet online recruiting sources to identify and recruit candidates
- Provides information on company facilities and job opportunities to potential applicants
- Arranges travel and lodging for out-of-town applicants.
- Performs reference and background checks on applicants
- Coordinates communications with applicants
- Files and maintains employment records for future references
- Provide administrative support and coordination to HR department
- Monitor key HR metrics, including time-to-fill, time-to-hire, and source of hire
- Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation
- Staying current on the company’s organization structure, personnel policy, and federal and state laws regarding employment practices
- Other duties may be assigned
Qualifications and Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in HR or business relatedA minimum of 1-year HR or recruiting experienceMust be fluent in English and SpanishHigh Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPointExcellent writing and communication skillsGood time management and attention to detailAbility to work within a team environmentAble to maintain confidentialityExcellent organization skillsThis position requires an extremely perceptive person, who is capable of relating to individuals at all levels.
