Scientific Data Analyst - Environmental Health

To support ICF’s dynamic growth and expanding client base, we are seeking an ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH SCIENTIFIC DATA ANALYST to work in our Health Science Portfolio. This group of 100+ science professionals provides toxicology, hazard assessment, epidemiology, risk assessment, exposure assessment, computational methods, environmental modeling, and related support that addresses the full spectrum of potentially hazardous agents, including chemicals and microbes. We specialize in identifying and quantifying the effects of environmental pollutants, such as metals, pesticides, and volatile organic compounds, on human health and the environment.

The Scientific Data Analyst’s project work would support federal agencies, such as the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the U.S. National Institutes of Health(NIH), in developing and evaluating traditional and computational approaches and new approach methods (NAMs) and providing support services to meet these goals.

  • The preferred work location is Durham, North Carolina; however, the candidate may be authorized to work remotely.

Basic Requirements :

  • Doctorate in fields such as bioinformatics, mathematics, statistics, computational linguistics, computer science, data science, or related area, PLUS a minimum of one year of relevant experience
  • OR, Master’s degree, in an equivalent field, PLUS 4 years of additional relevant experience.
  • Expertise in new approach methods NAMs or a related scientific field is highly preferred.
