Summary

We are seeking a high-caliber Outside Sales Associate to assist in driving growth within an assigned bank partner and territory. This role is pivotal in expanding our partner bank's portfolio by assisting in building strong relationships, training bank personnel on our products and services, and managing the full sales cycle of referred clients. The Regional Business Development Associate will work closely with the Regional Business Development Executives to generate revenue for the partner portfolio. Success in this role is measured by increasing referral numbers, scheduling Discovery Meetings for the RBDE, and fostering long-term partner and client relationships. Duties & Responsibilities
Essential Functions
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with partner bank personnel to generate referrals and drive sales growth.
- Educate bank staff on our suite of merchant services and fintech solutions to enhance their ability to identify and refer potential clients.
- Obtain merchant statements from prospective clients and schedule Discovery Meetings for the RBDE.
- Conduct outbound sales efforts via phone, email, and face-to-face interactions bank referrals to schedule Discovery Meetings for the RBDE.
- Drive year-over-year (YoY) portfolio growth by successfully converting bank-generated referrals into loyal clients.
- Maintain an active and well-documented sales pipeline, ensuring CRM updates are completed daily, weekly, and monthly.
- Serve as a key point of contact for assigned referral partners to ensure timely and accurate follow-up.
- Track and manage leads submitted by referral partners, ensuring none fall through the cracks.
Additional Responsibilities
Travel occasionally to represent Basys at trade shows.Assist the sales manager with day-to-day tasks and projects associated with the Team.Adjust sales scripts to better target the needs and interests of a specific businessModify and adjust sales processes as needed, with input from management.Assist with marketing efforts when needed, such as mailings to prospects.Other requests as needed.Requirements
Excellent verbal and written communication skillsSolid computer, grammar and multi-tasking skillsStrong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and educate bank partners and potential clients.Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of operating cooperatively within an assigned territory.This role is remote.Education & Experience
High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent professional experienceA minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales, new account acquisition, and relationship management in a service-based business.Proven track record of success in B2B sales, preferably in the FinTech or the financial industry.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRMBasys provides technology and payment integration solutions for businesses across the country and Canada.
