Job Summary :

The ServiceNow Developer is responsible for administering, developing, and enhancing ServiceNow solutions at Battelle. This role involves troubleshooting incidents, configuring workflows, integrating with third-party systems, and ensuring platform stability. The developer works in an agile team, participating in stand-ups, sprint planning, and reviews to deliver high-quality solutions. Responsibilities also include managing data accuracy, documentation, and staying current with technologies and certifications.

Responsibilities

Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot the ServiceNow platform.
Develop and configure workflows, business rules, scripts, and UI policies.
Integrate ServiceNow with third-party systems via APIs / web services.
Monitor performance, manage updates, and ensure data integrity.
Document configurations, customizations, and processes.
Analyse requirements, code, test / debug, and improve existing programs.
Stay current with ServiceNow technologies and pursue certifications.

Key Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science / information systems or equivalent experience.

8+ years as a ServiceNow Developer.

Strong skills in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, AngularJS.

Experience with integrations, cloud / on-premises solutions, AJAX, and JSON.

Knowledge of ITIL and IT Service Management.

Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred

Experience with ITSM, CSDM, CMDB, ITOM, Discovery, SAM Pro, SPM, IRM.

ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CAD).

Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
