Job Summary :

The ServiceNow Developer is responsible for administering, developing, and enhancing ServiceNow solutions at Battelle. This role involves troubleshooting incidents, configuring workflows, integrating with third-party systems, and ensuring platform stability. The developer works in an agile team, participating in stand-ups, sprint planning, and reviews to deliver high-quality solutions. Responsibilities also include managing data accuracy, documentation, and staying current with technologies and certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot the ServiceNow platform.
  • Develop and configure workflows, business rules, scripts, and UI policies.
  • Integrate ServiceNow with third-party systems via APIs / web services.
  • Monitor performance, manage updates, and ensure data integrity.
  • Document configurations, customizations, and processes.
  • Analyse requirements, code, test / debug, and improve existing programs.
  • Stay current with ServiceNow technologies and pursue certifications.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science / information systems or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years as a ServiceNow Developer.
  • Strong skills in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, AngularJS.
  • Experience with integrations, cloud / on-premises solutions, AJAX, and JSON.
  • Knowledge of ITIL and IT Service Management.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Preferred

  • Experience with ITSM, CSDM, CMDB, ITOM, Discovery, SAM Pro, SPM, IRM.
  • ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CAD).
  • Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
