Platform Engineer

A company is looking for a Software Engineer, Platform Engineering. Key Responsibilities Own and evolve the main backends, real-time services, and storage systems to support product growth Scale and optimize the Python-based runtime and storage platforms while improving performance and reliability Refactor and modularize large codebases to enhance developer velocity and maintain a productive environment Required Qualifications 7+ years of backend engineering experience (10+ for Staff-level) Strong experience with large-scale backend systems, ideally in Python Deep expertise with storage systems like Postgres, DynamoDB, or Planetscale Experience in building or scaling messaging, notification, or caching systems Familiarity with cloud-native environments such as AWS or GCP, including Kubernetes and Docker
