Job Description
KPFF Spokane’s Transportation Team focuses on designing infrastructure that moves people and connects communities across the region. We work on a wide range of transportation projects, including transit passenger facilities, roadways, bicycle and pedestrian facilities, airport landside facilities, and major infrastructure efforts throughout the Inland and Pacific Northwest. Our team supports projects from early planning and feasibility through design, permitting, and construction. We collaborate closely with public agencies (local, state and federal), transit and port authorities, contractors, and fellow engineers to deliver thoughtful, sustainable solutions that improve mobility, restore natural systems, and strengthen the built environment.
Located in downtown Spokane, our office is now accepting applications for the Summer 2026 Transportation Engineering Internship. This position will provide the opportunity for you to dive headfirst into real-world projects from day one. You will work alongside experienced engineers on real projects, gaining hands-on experience and building the skills needed to succeed in a fast-changing world, as well as :
