Controls Solutions, a Crete United Company , is seeking an experienced and reliable Building Automation System (BAS) Service Technician to support the maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of BAS and HVAC control systems for customers in the Denver, CO area. Technicians will be based out of our Denver office and may travel to various local customer sites as needed. You will help ensure the performance, efficiency, and reliability of building systems through routine service, inspections, and responsive technical support.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform scheduled and reactive service, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance on BAS and control systems.

Monitor and evaluate system performance through platforms such as Tridium Niagara.

Troubleshoot hardware (controllers, sensors, actuators) and software programming issues.

Adjust control sequences, setpoints, and schedules to enhance energy efficiency and occupant comfort.

Work collaboratively with HVAC, electrical, and IT professionals to address system-level issues.

Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for complex diagnostics, upgrades, or retrofits.

Maintain safety, compliance, and documentation in line with industry and company standards.

Qualifications :

2–5 years of experience working with BAS systems in service or maintenance roles.

Proficiency with BAS platforms (Tridium Niagara, Honeywell, Siemens, Schneider, JCI, etc.).

Solid understanding of HVAC systems including VAVs, AHUs, chillers, and boilers.

Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and control drawings.

Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills.

Ability to manage multiple service calls independently and efficiently.

Tridium Niagara AX / N4 Certification - not required but a plus

Work Conditions :

Full-time role based out of our Denver, CO office.

Local travel to customer facilities as needed.

May require shift work or on-call support.

Ability to work in mechanical rooms, rooftops, and confined spaces; lift up to 50 lbs.

• Competitive hourly pay based on experience - $40 - $55hr
