Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Conference Programmer to join a fast-growing B2B events organization. If you have experience designing and delivering conference programs, strong communication skills, and a passion for producing high-quality content for the financial services market, this is the role for you.

Conference Programmer – Benefits :

  • Competitive salary with a base range of $80K–$85K plus $10K bonus and commission, totaling $90K–$95K

Conference Programmer – Requirements & Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 3-5 years of conference organization experience, specifically in international events and conference programming (not venue logistics)
  • Experience producing conference programs or editorial content for financial markets preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Knowledge of financial services, particularly fixed income, a plus
  • Strong planning, organizational, and decision-making skills in fast-paced environments
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot) and event software (Slido, Bizzabo) a plus
  • Conference Programmer – Preferred Background & Skills :

  • Candidates must have a proven track record of producing conference programming for comparable events, demonstrating a strong understanding of the content and educators involved. They should be able to provide clear examples of events where they have contributed program content.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with C-level executives and industry advisors
  • Experience conducting industry research and identifying emerging trends
  • Familiarity with budgeting and P&L management for events
  • Skilled in speaker recruitment and training
  • Strong collaboration with sales, marketing, and production teams
