A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a contract position in Irving, TX, focused on supporting students in a school environment during the academic year. This role is ideal for professionals dedicated to fostering effective communication skills and helping students overcome speech and language challenges.

Responsibilities :

  • Collaborating with students, parents, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders.
  • Implementing individualized treatment plans to promote speech and language development.
  • Enhancing students social interactions and overall academic success through targeted therapy.
  • Providing services via teletherapy as needed, along with direct and indirect therapy sessions.

Desired Qualifications :

  • Current Texas State License or eligibility to obtain licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent.
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
  • Experience in pediatric settings and teletherapy is advantageous.
  • Previous school-based experience is preferred but not required.
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome.
