Qualifications :
Education : Graduate of an accredited speech-language pathologist programLicense : Current SLP license in CaliforniaCertifications : Infant / Child / Adult CPR and First AidSkills : Strong oral and written communication, proficiency in Microsoft OfficeValid driver's license with a clean recordCompetencies :
Knowledge of early childhood development, therapy techniques and assistive technology and developmental / medical needs of individuals with a variety of disabling or at-risk conditionsPunctual and dependableExcellent customer serviceEthical and professional conductStrong interpersonal and problem-solving skillsAbility to work both collaboratively and independentlyYour Fun-Filled Duties :
Conduct assessments to determine skill levels and progressDetermine current skill levels
Determine the individual's progress in meeting the outcomes outlined on the IFSP / IEP / IPP and previous assessmentAssist in identifying family / educators / caregiver concernsSuggest ideas to be addresses in the new IFSP / IEP / IPPPlan and implement engaging therapy sessionsTrainings to family / caregiver / teacher on techniques to help meet their individual's identified needs.
Train families and caregivers in effective techniquesMaintain clear and timely documentationParticipate in meetings and in-service educationPhysical Demands :
