Position Description
The University of Texas at Arlington School of Social Work invites nominations and applications for a Assistant Professor of Research (non-Tenure-Track) position, effective May 15, 2025. We are especially interested in adding faculty who will strengthen our capacity in the areas of health, mental health, or substance use services, policy or research. Additionally, applicants with research that aligns with the UTA 2030 Strategic Plan : Shared Dreams, Bright Future and the theme of Health and Human Condition (see ) are strongly encouraged to apply. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Grant writing; manuscript preparation / revision; quantitative and qualitative data collection, cleaning, and analysis; project management; professional training and development activities; service to the School of Social Work; undergraduate and / or graduate student mentorship.
