Student Support Specialist- ELCBP

Position Overview :

The Student Support Specialist is to serve the needs of the school as directed by the principal through

effective instructional practice and positive behavior support. The goal of every school is to increase

student achievement, so the Student Support Specialist will be providing services to achieve that goal

for all students. The Student Support Specialist should be prepared to effectively deliver services and

increase student outcomes through interactions with students, teachers, staff, families, and

administration. The Student Support Specialist will need to be flexible with their daily schedule, able to

meet the expectations associated with an active job, and be able to work collaboratively to achieve

goals.

This Classified Role will be :

7.5 hours a day / .5 for unpaid lunch = 7 hours (exact hours to be determined by the principal but to be aligned with the student day)

180 days a school year
