As a Mechanical Assembly Technician / Machine Operator you will : Support our manufacturing and assembly operations. This role is ideal for someone with basic technical skills and a willingness to learn, who can perform light machining, equipment assembly, and general maintenance tasks in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment. Assemble mechanical equipment and subassemblies according to engineering drawings and quality standards. Perform drilling, tapping, deburring, and finishing operations on metal and plastic parts. Operate mills and lathes for light machining tasks under supervision. Support engineering teams with builds, fixture fabrication, and basic modifications. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with company and OSHA guidelines. Use hand tools, power tools, and basic measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, gauges). This is a full time opportunity The ideal candidate will have : High school diploma or GED. 1–2 years of hands-on mechanical, maintenance, or machining experience (professional or vocational training). Ability to read and interpret basic mechanical drawings and instructions. Proficiency with standard hand tools and power tools. Basic knowledge of shop safety practices. Strong attention to detail and quality. Preferred : Experience operating manual milling machines and lathes for light machining tasks. Exposure to manufacturing or assembly environments. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Standing, bending, and working with hands for extended periods. Comfortable working around industrial machinery and tools. Pay Rate : $23.00-25.00 / hr
