Job Description

We are looking for experienced people to work on our night shift who are responsible for picking and distributing material and products within our warehouse by performing the following duties listed below.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE :

  • Reading customer orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed and / or shipped.
  • Picking product with an RF Gun following system direction to location and quantity to fill customer orders.
  • Moving materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas.
  • Filling requisitions, customer orders, or requests for materials or other stock items and distribute items to shipping or to designated route driver.
  • Assembling customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or relocating orders to a holding area or shipping department.
  • Marking materials with identifying information using appropriate method.
  • Opening boxes, bales, crates, and other containers.
  • Assisting in counting of physical inventory.
  • Weighing and counting items for distribution within facility to ensure conformance to company standards.
  • Preparing and packaging orders for shipping.
  • Organizing warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS ARE :

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Previous warehouse experience required.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Basic knowledge and ability to use a computer.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as customer orders. Ability to write basic correspondence memos and notes.
  • Must be able to read and write in English.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Previous experience using RF Scan Guns and interacting with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) a plus.

    • The expected permanent work hours and workdays are 4 : 00pm to whenever the job is done, which can vary anytime between 11 : 00pm and 1 : 00am. (Monday through Friday).
