Maintenance Technician

The General Maintenance Technician ensures that equipment, machinery, installations, and the facility are in optimal condition. This role involves preventive maintenance, acute maintenance, adjustments, and participation in validation and replacements. Technicians will oversee the Building, Warehouse, Extrusion, Packaging, and Dip Line, working across all areas rather than being assigned to one specific location.

Responsibilities

• Follow the maintenance schedule for adjustment, cleaning, and preventive maintenance of all equipment, machinery, installations, and the facility.
• Conduct preventive maintenance for equipment, machinery, installations, and the facility.
• Perform acute maintenance or replacement of parts in or on the equipment, machinery, installations, and facility as needed.
• Support operators, process techs, and leadership when problems occur with the equipment, machinery, installations, and facility.
• Adhere to lockout / tagout and all applicable safety procedures when working on the machines, equipment, installations, or facility.
• Utilize all required safety gear when working on the machines, equipment, installations, or facility.

Work Environment

You will work on the manufacturing floor 100% of the time, specifically in the plastics mold and extrusion division, alongside a team of technicians and engineers. The environment is clean, requiring gowning before entry and adherence to FDA guidelines. The facility includes multiple divisions and products, with a caf and office space available. The facility houses 16 injection molding and extrusion machines. Shifts include 1st (7am-3pm), 2nd (3pm-11pm with $0.50 premium), and 3rd (11pm-7am with $1 premium) with initial training on 1st shift before transitioning to an off shift.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Noblesville, Indiana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00 / hr.
