Position Summary :
Oklahoma City University invites applications for the position of Principal Faculty, Assistant or Associate Clinical Professor in the Physician Assistant (PA) Program. This is a full-time, 12-month non-tenure track position located in the heart of Oklahoma City. The successful candidate will contribute to the education and development of future healthcare professionals and play a pivotal role in advancing the mission of the PA program.
Responsibilities :
- Provide didactic education and course coordination for first-year PA students.
- Facilitate small group learning experiences and provide clinical instruction.
- Offer academic counseling and support to students on academic issues.
- Collaborate with program faculty and staff in curriculum development and assessment.
- Participate in the development and maintenance of clinical rotation sites.
- Serve as a mentor and advisor to PA students.
- Engage in scholarly activities and professional development.
- Contribute to university and program committees as assigned.
Qualifications :
Master’s degree with eligibility for licensure as a Physician Assistant in Oklahoma.Current certification by the NCCPA and eligibility for licensure in Oklahoma.Experience in graduate-level education preferred, including syllabi, test, and lecture preparation.Ability to work autonomously in providing direct patient care services.Minimum of two years of experience in PA education and providing direct patient care services preferred.
