About the Role :

Join Bootz & Duke Sign Company as a Painter Apprentice and kickstart your career in the vibrant world of sign making! We are looking for enthusiastic individuals eager to learn the art of painting and finishing high-quality signs in a dynamic and creative environment.

Responsibilities :

  • Assist skilled painters in preparing surfaces for painting, including cleaning and priming.
  • Learn to mix paints and apply coatings using various tools and techniques.
  • Support the team in maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Participate in the installation of signs and graphics on-site.
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Help with inventory management of painting supplies and materials.
  • Engage in continuous learning and skill development related to painting and finishing.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.

Requirements :

  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant coursework in art or design is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for craftsmanship.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Basic knowledge of painting techniques and tools is preferred, but not required.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced painters.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation is a plus.
