As our Office Assistant, you’ll be the first point of contact for clients and visitors — the friendly face that makes a lasting impression. You’ll also keep the behind-the-scenes operations rolling : office organization, and supporting our legal team. This is more than just an admin role — it’s an entry-level launchpad into the legal world, with real opportunities for growth in a boutique law firm environment.

Compensation : 15 - 18 hourly

Responsibilities :

  • Assist with other administrative tasks, such as data entry, copying, filing etc.
  • Welcome fellow employees, clients, and visitors when they enter the building and give them any pertinent information or directions
  • Assure incoming and outgoing mail is managed appropriately and handle deliveries
  • Ensure the security of the building by having visitors follow necessary sign-in protocol
  • Plan for company trips and outings and provide itineraries to ensure off-site activities are a success

What We’re Looking For

  • Someone who is detailed oriented (yes, that’s spelled wrong on purpose 😉) and can follow directions carefully
  • A self-starter with HUNGER for growth and learning
  • A sense of OWNERSHIP over tasks — you don’t just “do the job,” you take pride in doing it well
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Friendly, professional demeanor with clients and team members
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office and basic computer skills
  • Entry-level applicants welcome — no legal experience required, just eagerness to learn!
  • Must be able to to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Qualifications :

  • High school graduate, G.E.D. recipient, or equivalent
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, organizational skills, customer service skills, and verbal communication skills
  • Has experience answering telephone calls and troubleshooting stressful situations
  • Exhibits working knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic computer skills
  • English and Spanish (Proficient in both)
  • Previous hospitality experience is preferred, but not necessary
