Business Development Leader Industrial and Mission-Critical Construction

A highly respected general contractor in Minnesota is expanding their footprint in the data center, advanced manufacturing, and industrial markets and they're looking to add a Business Developer to their Minneapolis-based team. This is a high-impact role focused on identifying opportunities, building strong industry relationships, and helping secure complex, large-scale projects. What You'll Do :

  • Drive business development efforts across the commercial, industrial, and mission-critical sectors
  • Develop and execute a territory sales plan
  • Generate new client relationships and maintain existing ones
  • Prepare quotes and proposals for prospective clients
  • Work closely with leadership to meet growth goals
  • Travel throughout the region to build relationships and close deals

What You Bring :

  • 5+ years of experience in business development or outside sales in commercial or industrial construction
  • Strong understanding of complex, large-scale builds (data center, industrial, advanced manufacturing)
  • Proven track record of lead generation and successful deal closure
  • Experience working with general contractors, owners, and developers
  • CRM proficiency and ability to manage a full sales cycle
  • Existing client network is a plus
