The Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) Operating Unit offers devices and therapies that treat patients with abnormal heart rhythms and heart failure. This position is located in Mounds View, MN.

You will be responsible for technical functions to advance existing technology or introduce new technology and therapies. Formulates, delivers and / or manages projects assigned and works with other stakeholders to achieve desired results. Works closely with delivering R&D, systems or initiatives related to new technologies or therapies from design to implementation - while adhering to policies, using specialized knowledge and skills.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned :

• Develop requirements, plan, design, develop, and verify mechanical and electromechanical catheters in the cardiac space, ensuring these products achieve high standards of safety, reliability, and performance.
• Recommend and implement options or approaches to enhance safety, performance, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness of systems, processes, and facilities.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing and systems engineers, to deliver integrated solutions.
• Analyze complex engineering problems, provide in-depth analysis and innovative solutions to improve processes and products.
• Oversee the creation of prototypes and conduct rigorous testing to validate and refine designs. This role will also be responsible for design characterization.
• Prepare detailed engineering documentation and ensure designs comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and department best practices.
• Communicate effectively with senior internal and external stakeholders.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD) : $104,000.00 - $156,000.00 This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
