Your Responsibilities

  • Handle machine setups, changeovers, and fine-tune CNC programs with meticulous adjustments and tool changes.
  • Operate and sustain CNC Swiss-style machines as well as utilizes hand tools for finishing and burr removal.
  • Interpret blueprints, check-sheets, and precise work instructions with ease.
  • Bring expertise to bear with tools like calipers and micrometers to ensure precision and quality.
  • Leverage ERP and monitoring systems for flawless work order management, production oversight, and digital quality documentation.
  • Collaborate with CNC programmers to maintain up-to-date setup documentation adhering to change control protocols.
  • Lead your team towards peak performance of CNC equipment, guiding and training as necessary.
  • Champion process improvements to elevate both quality and delivery output.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction with punctual production as per the schedule.

What You'll Bring to the Role

  • Completion of high school education or similar baseline, with advanced technical credentials as a plus.
  • 5+ years of operational experience with Swiss-style lathes in a production setting.
  • Familiarity with machines like Citizen and Tsugami enhances your fit for the role.
  • Proficiency in using machines, tools, and measurement gadgets within your domain, coupled with a grasp of manufacturing processes.
  • Skill in setup, blueprint analysis, and file management.
  • A keen eye for quality, ensuring both functional and aesthetic standards are met.
  • Ability to comprehend basic CNC programming.
  • Strong communicator capable of engaging with colleagues at various organizational levels.
  • An understanding of lean manufacturing principles and ambitions.
  • Adeptness in following guide instructions and completing tasks as assigned by leaders.
