Our last prototype, Trenta, completed 10,000 high-power pulses and reached plasma temperatures of 100 million degrees Celsius (9 keV). We are now operating Polaris, our next prototype on the path to the world's first fusion power plant.

What You Will Be Doing :

You will lead the production of capacitor modules, a critical technology for Helion's fusion devices. You will build foundational production processes and scale operations to support high-volume manufacturing. Your responsibilities include managing the production of cutting-edge hardware, growing a team of technicians and supervisors, and maturing Helion's production systems. You will play a key role in Helion's transition to generator mass manufacturing. You will report to the Senior Manager of Capacitor Production and this is an onsite role located at our Everett, WA office.

You Will :

• Oversee a team of technicians and supervisors building high-voltage electronic and mechanical assemblies
• Build new production lines from the ground up to improve output, cost, and quality of capacitor modules
• Hire and develop supervisors and technicians, and own long-term staffing strategies aligned to program milestones
• Coach and mentor production personnel to build a high-performance team
• Collaborate with supply chain, manufacturing engineering, and design engineering to scale production from 10 MJ to 100,000 MJ annually over the next decade
• Mature foundational processes including non-conformance handling, calibration, inventory control, and scheduling to support higher-volume production
• Drive schedule ownership and milestone delivery across the production team
• Interface with engineering teams to inform design improvements and optimize manufacturing processes

Helion's compensation package includes a competitively benchmarked base salary, meaningful equity grants, and comprehensive benefits. Final compensation is determined through a holistic evaluation of your experience, qualifications, and our commitment to internal equity - ensuring fairness and transparency across our teams. We are committed to fostering a fair and equitable environment in every aspect of our operations, including compensation.

This is an exempt salaried role.

Annual Base Pay

115,000-$145,000 USD
