Job Description :

Sales Manager to lead our rapidly growing team of sales development and inside sales representatives

He / She will manage a growing Sales Development team with a focus on building sales skills including prospecting, lead qualification, objection handling, along with measuring and tracking sales performance.

The successful candidate will be able to balance sales management and sales strategy.

He / She will have advanced proficiency with Salesforce; will build and execute plans that address gaps in the sales process, as well as individual and team performance. This person will be focused on growing this team, establishing a productive and collaborative work environment and ensuring each member is achieving their goals.

Background :

  • Proven track record of successfully building, training and growing sales teams
  • Metrics-driven, highly analytical
  • Advanced functional knowledge of SFDC
  • Creative and strategic approach to generating qualified leads
  • Experience in direct enterprise-level, high-tech sales
  • Knowledge of the database or Big Data space is ideal

Responsibilities :

  • Develop strategy for scaling and managing both the inside sales and sales development teams
  • Build dashboards and reports in SFDC to track and measure performance
  • Identify and make improvements in process, efficiency, enablement, and productivity
  • Establish lead generation processes, design and implement a training program and create materials for new inside and sales development reps
  • Manage day-to-day operations of inside and sales development reps, setting expectations and ensuring goals are being met
  • Manage a team’s quota attainment and provide guidance for a successful close
  • Measure and take an analytical look at the business and sales funnel, internalize key performance metrics, and put plans for improvement into action
  • Desired Skills / Experience :

  • Minimum of two years in sales management position
  • Self-starter, resourceful, adaptable, and creative, with a solid understanding of sales methodology
  • Experience using Salesforce is a must
  • Outstanding communication, relationship development and leadership skills
  • Strong prioritization skills, ability to manage multiple projects at once and meet deadlines in a time sensitive environment
  • Ability to motivate team members to help them reach and exceed sales goals
  • Bachelor’s degree required
