Lab Technician / Data Entry (Mon-Fri 5am-1 : 30pm) JOB SUMMARY AND OBJECTIVE The Lab Technician is responsible for the timely, efficient, and accurate processing of products in the lab. Lab Technicians will be assigned an essential function, where he / she will work the predominant portion of their daily work schedule, as well as be expected to perform work in additional essential functions as business needs dictate. Shift : Monday-Friday 4 : 45am-1 : 15pm

This is a full time, direct hire position with full benefit package.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (as applicable per lab / department)

  • Input lists, records and other data into Absolution software program.
  • Coordinates correspondence of orders, invoices and records to ensure accuracy in prescription billing.
  • Communicate with various departments to ensure timely and accurate production.
  • Process invoicing and credits as required for customers.
  • Effectively troubleshoot and provide resolution support customer service issues in a timely fashion.
  • Work safely and quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Cross train in additional areas around the lab.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBLITIES : None QUALIFICATIONS Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent experience is required for full-time employment.
  • Entry-level : No specific prior work experience required; training provided to enable employees to perform the minimum essential functions identified by their respective lab / department
  • Proficient : Minimum six (6) months of optical manufacturing experience in same or similar position prior to skills assessment to determine ability to perform all applicable essential functions identified by their respective lab / department
  • Ability to follow procedure and contribute as an individual and a team member
  • Desired Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
  • Computer literate
  • PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, bend, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus are required. WORK ENVIRONMENT The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.     The anticipated base pay range for this position is $ + $2.00 shift differential

    Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills, and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and / or commission plan.
