Auto Body Painter's Helper

Carlsbad Collision Center is seeking a Painter’s Helper to join our Body Shop! This role is key in preparing vehicles and surfaces for painting while supporting efficient workflow and maintaining the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities :

Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, masking, taping, polishing, and other prep work

Assist with the proper use and handling of cleaning solutions, thinners, paints, and sandpaper

Follow quality control procedures and ensure all work meets company standards

Wear a company-provided uniform and maintain a professional appearance

Follow all safety guidelines when operating equipment and handling materials

Keep the work area clean and organized

Safely operate vehicles as needed

Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications :

High school diploma or GED

1 to 3 months of related experience or training (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
