Job Title

Performs the set-up, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies. Determines and may develop test specifications, methods, and procedures from blueprints, drawings, and diagrams. Tests and troubleshoots assemblies and / or final systems. May complete rework on assemblies and / or systems as a result of testing. Prepares technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems. May assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment.

Skills, Knowledge, Training, and Certifications

  • Obtains and completes LMS training plan specific to assigned responsibility.
  • Familiar with business tools such as : E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired.

Level Description

  • Acquires job skills and learns company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks.
  • Works on assignments that are routine in nature, requiring limited judgment. Has little or no role in decision-making.
  • Normally receives detailed instructions on work. Works under close supervision.

  • High School Degree or equivalent
  • 0 1 year of experience

    • Environment and Physical Requirements

  • Heavy work that will frequently require employee to lift / move up to 75 lbs. and constantly lift more than 25 lbs. to greater than 75 lbs.
  • Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or moving heavy equipment and / or supplies frequently.
  • Reaching above and below the shoulder frequently.
  • Above-average agility and dexterity with the ability to hold, grasp and manipulate small parts and use hand and power tools frequently.
  • Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and handle physical exertion, such as long periods of standing, walking, bending, crouching, stretching, reaching, repetitive motion, or similar activities.
  • Work environments includes : Exposure to chemicals, Electrical Current, Minor Radiation that is monitored quarterly, Proximity to moving parts, Repetitive hand motion, Open Flame, Uneven surface.

    • Travel to N / A sites. Valid driver's license. (if needed on job profile)
