Test Equipment Development Engineer
The Strategic Systems Engineering Test Equipment group at Draper is seeking a Test Equipment Development Engineer to work within multidisciplinary teams to develop and provide full system lifecycle development and management of complex electrical, mechanical and software-based test equipment. System Integration and Test (I&T) Engineer 1 serve as the system integrator for technologies and product lines developed using Draper's core capabilities. In this role they plan, execute, and manage I&T activities starting from early test concept development through system certification. This includes functional simulation, subsystem and system integration and test, verification and validation (V&V), performance evaluation, and acceptance testing. System I&T Engineers leverage multi-disciplinary engineering expertise and collaborate with other Systems Engineers to establish clear, verifiable, and traceable requirements, inform and drive system concepts, architectures, and designs to promote testability, and utilizes resident expertise and lessons learned to support the development of highly reliable, robust, and complex systems.
Duties / Responsibilities
Ability to independently complete assignments by applying technical knowledge to defined problems with minimal oversight.
Contribute content for technical reports and presentations with appropriate guidance.
Adapt appropriately to changes in program requirements.
Identify challenges associated with assigned work and communicate them to project leadership.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Education
Requires a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Applied Physics, or related field.
Experience
0-3 years in Systems Engineering or relevant role.
