We are seeking a dynamic and organized Event Sales Coordinator to join our team. This role requires a passionate individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses a stellar ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. As an Event Sales Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the planning and execution of various events, from corporate gatherings to social celebrations.

Location : Minneapolis, MN

Pay Range : $900 - $1250 per week

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients to determine their event requirements and budget.
  • Research and book venues, caterers, and vendors to create a comprehensive event plan.
  • Prepare and present proposals to clients, showcasing services and event ideas.
  • Manage timelines, schedules, and budgets for event execution.
  • Coordinate logistics, including transportation, accommodations, and equipment rentals.
  • Oversee event setup and breakdown, ensuring all aspects run smoothly during the event.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Proven experience in event planning and sales, preferably in a corporate setting.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients and vendors.
  • Proficiency in using event management software and CRM tools.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as necessary for event execution.
  • Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable contracts and pricing.
