The Commercial Title Examiner is responsible for the specific duties listed below.

Your specific duties will include :

  • Reviewing and analyzing commercial title documents for accuracy, completeness, and legal compliance.
  • Conducting thorough research on property records, including deeds, mortgages, liens, and easements.
  • Identifying and resolving title defects or discrepancies in coordination with escrow officers, attorneys, and other real estate professionals.
  • Preparing detailed title reports and documentation for underwriting and closing purposes.
  • Utilizing specialized title examination software and tools for data entry and processing.
  • Ensuring strict compliance with Fair Housing laws, TILA, and applicable federal and state regulations.
  • Applying financial acumen and basic math skills to support accurate assessment of transaction details.
  • Using 10-key typing skills for efficient recordkeeping and report generation.

Specific qualifications for the position include :

  • Previous experience in title examination, escrow, or real estate transaction support preferred.
  • Familiarity with TILA and Fannie Mae (Client) guidelines considered a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with industry-standard title software and digital tools.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Background in financial services or commercial real estate transactions highly desirable.
  • Pay Rate Range : $70,000 - $75,000 for salaried positions

    Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits including medical, dental, and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
