What Youll Do
Provide targeted, specialized academic instruction to students with learning differences and special needs in elementary or middle school settingsManage an assigned caseload, ensuring services align with each students IEP goals and timelinesLead IEP meetings, write compliant IEPs, and collaborate with service providers, parents, and district teamsAdminister and interpret standardized assessments to track progress and drive instructional planningAdapt and modify curriculum to support student learning and inclusion across co-teaching, push-in, pull-out, and one-to-one modelsMaintain accurate and timely documentation, including IEPs, progress reports, evaluations, and service logsPartner with general education teachers to create differentiated instruction and promote meaningful inclusionWhat Were Looking For
Required :
Active California Education Specialist and / or Special Education Teaching Credential (CTC)Availability for in-person services in Richmond, CAStrong knowledge of Special Education law, policy, and instructional best practicesPreferred :
1+ years of Special Education teaching experienceAbility to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teamsExcellent communication skills and a positive, student-centered approachTech-savvy with strong organizational skillsPerks & Benefits
