This Senior DeltaV Controls Engineer role places you at the forefront of designing, implementing, and managing cutting-edge automation systems in biopharmaceutical and medical device manufacturing.

Youll be the technical lead for full lifecycle projectsfrom concept through commissioningdelivering solutions that meet stringent regulatory standards.

What youll be doing :

  • Lead the full design and implementation of DeltaV control systems for complex, GMP-regulated projects
  • Develop project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure delivery on time and within scope
  • Design batch sequencing, phase logic, and recipe structures using ISA-88 principles
  • Create DeltaV graphics via DeltaV Live and Operate in line with ISA-101 HMI guidelines
  • Build scalable, class-based automation solutions
  • Integrate DeltaV with third-party systems via OPC UA, Ethernet / IP, Modbus, etc.
  • Define system infrastructure including server architecture, virtualization, cybersecurity, and redundancy
  • Lead FAT / SAT activities, commissioning, and validation efforts
  • Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams
  • Travel up to 25% for on-site commissioning and client engagement
  • Requirements :

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical, Control Systems, or Chemical Engineering (or related field)
  • 815 years of automation experience in Life Sciences / Pharma environments
  • Deep expertise in Emerson DeltaV, including DeltaV Live and Operate
  • Strong command of ISA-101 high-performance graphics and ISA-88 batch processing
  • Proven ability to manage full project lifecycles
  • Proficient in automation protocols : Ethernet / IP, Modbus TCP / IP, Profibus, Foundation Fieldbus, OPC UA
  • Skilled in electrical design, MCCs, VFDs, panel layouts, power distribution
  • Familiar with cGMP, GAMP5, and 21 CFR Part 11
  • Experience with industrial networking and server infrastructure
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% and work extended hours when needed
