The Sepsis Coordinator is a registered nurse responsible for oversight of the sepsis program and is accountable for assessing and coordinating the management of the potential sepsis / sepsis patient. The coordinator works collaboratively with the medical and hospital staff to provide a multidisciplinary approach to the care of the sepsis patient, to include, but not limited to, the implementation of evidence-based practices as related to sepsis care; provide clinical and professional expertise for patients, families and staff; collect and analyze sepsis related data and make recommendations and develop reports on data; and provide sepsis education at the bedside and in the classroom.

Education Required : Current Missouri Registered Nurse License Preferred : Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or other related field
Experience Required : 2 years related experience Preferred : Experience in emergency or critical care nursing
Skills Excellent public relation skills Excellent use of laptop computer Excellent critical thinking and conflict management skills
Licensure / Certification / Registration Required : Current Missouri Registered Nurse License Preferred : Certification in related field
