Crane Operator

The crane operator is responsible for safely operating company cranes within certification permissions using a variety of equipment including the National 2019 NTB 33 Ton Boom Truck, National 2019 NTB 45 Ton Boom Truck, and Terex 80 Ton RT Crane. Each piece of equipment is regularly inspected and maintained to meet high performance and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate cranes within certification limits to lift, move, position, and reposition loads or materials.
• Set up, break down, and reposition cranes multiple times a day.
• Communicate effectively with crews across multiple divisions.
• Operate additional equipment such as forklifts, boom lifts, and scissor lifts.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the crane and assist with material deliveries.
• Receive accurate rigging direction through verbal or hand signals.
• Assist in performing routine maintenance and complete pre- and post-trip inspections.

Work Environment

This is a Permanent position based out of Wichita, Kansas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $72800.00 / yr.
