Junior Supply Chain Planner – External Manufacturing

Location : Remote (EST Hours)

Employment Type : Full-Time, Contract

Compensation : $40–$52 per hour

Travel : Approximately 3 times per year (Boston, Poland, France)

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Planner to support our External Manufacturing operations within the global Supply Chain function. This role is responsible for managing production schedules and supplier coordination to ensure supply continuity and alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain master production schedules for APIs, raw materials, and semi-finished goods at contract manufacturing organizations (CMOs)
  • Coordinate with CMOs to validate and execute production plans based on capacity and material availability
  • Identify and resolve supply-demand imbalances and mitigate risk through proactive planning
  • Collaborate with CMOs, procurement teams, internal manufacturing sites, and global stakeholders
  • Monitor and report on supply performance metrics; drive improvements and cost efficiencies
  • Translate global supply forecasts into site-level production plans and manage purchase order lifecycle
  • Support monthly S&OP processes and escalation management during supply disruptions
  • Participate in process optimization initiatives and continuous improvement efforts

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Production Management, or Engineering
  • 1–3 years of experience in supply planning or supplier management within a global or manufacturing environment
  • Advanced Excel skills required; experience with SAP or equivalent ERP systems a strong advantage
  • APICS certification or coursework preferred
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to work across time zones
  • Fluent in English
  • Work Hours

  • Full-time (Monday–Friday)
  • Standard working hours : 7 : 00 AM – 4 : 00 PM EST
  • Flexibility required for occasional collaboration with international teams
