Asset Securitization Group Originations Team Member

As part of the Capital Markets division within Truist Securities, Inc., the Asset Securitization Group (ASG) provides structured debt capital solutions to clients of Truist Bank across a range of consumer, commercial and esoteric asset classes. The Originations team within ASG (i) partners with the structuring team, syndicate desk and sales team to place asset-backed securities (ABS) with institutional investors in the new issue market and (ii) partners with our ABS warehouse team to originate asset-backed credit facilities for our clients, funded by Truist Bank and / or syndicated to other banks and / or institutional investors. ASG collaborates with internal partners including Banking, Risk, Operations, and Legal to achieve seamless execution, appropriate risk mitigation and strong client experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Works closely with senior CIB professionals.
  • Performs assigned duties with some independence, including but not limited to, due diligence, document processing, financial modeling, statistical analysis, research, and presentation development.

  • BA / BS degree
  • Licenses : Series 7, 79, and 63
  • Proven analytical ability and attention to detail
  • Solid leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • 1 year of related work experience since graduation from an undergraduate program.
  • The annual base salary for this position is $105,000.
