Assist the BCBA by following through with program recommendations, disseminate and maintain active communication across team members.Maintain and update administrative records daily by recording data accurately, graphing, and updating electronic database platform, notes and bi-monthly and six month data updates.Implement behavior analytic programs by presenting skill programs across language, play, social, motor, self-help and pre-academic skills.Innovate with novel ideas regarding activities and unique ways to reach the learner by thinking outside the boxCreate and maintain fun, positive interactions and rapport between you and the patientInteract physically with the learner which will include, but not limited to play in the form of social games; physical play / movement play- running, jumping; engagement with fun thematic play activities and sensorial playMotivate yourself, team and more importantly the patients you interact withCollaborate with other team members by listening to their ideas, feedback and reciprocatingInitiate and share ideasIncorporate others ideas and strategiesReceive feedback in a positive that will help, shape and guide you to be the best therapist that you can beCommunicate daily with questions or concernsParticipate in staff and team meetingsMaintain a high level of ethics into your daily practiceHave prior experience in ABA and / or working with children with autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disorders / delays.Are sensitive to the needs and have a willingness to work with a ethically, culturally and linguistically diverse population of children.Have the ability to remain calm and neutral and shift in the moment in a safe manner during challenging situations with clients.What does it take to join our team?
Education :
Completion of a bachelor degree in a closely related fieldExperience :
At least 1 year experience working with children with autism or children with special needs.At least 1 year experience implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment plans.Credentials :
