Job Description

GQR Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for a travel nursing job in lancaster, California.

Job Description & Requirements

Specialty : CVOR
Discipline : RN
Duration : 13 weeks
40 hours per week
Shift : 10 hours, days, on call, rotating
Employment Type : Travel

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

Knowledge and application of surgical asepsis and sterile technique.

Knowledge of proper supplies equipment and instrumentation needed for surgical procedures, i.e. electrocautery, patient monitoring equipment, and equipment such as neurological, cardiovascular, orthopedic equipment during procedures.

Demonstrates competency in use of the new technologies relating to equipment and procedures.

Meets all skills and abilities of a Registered Nurse.

Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Demonstrate ability to supervise care provided by others. Education and

Experience :

Completion of accredited Perioperative Nursing Course desirable.

National certification such as Certified Nursing in Operating Room (CNOR) desirable

Must have 2 years relevant Cardiovascular OR experience

Must have 1 year travel experience
