Your Role at KIK

As a Maintenance Supervisor you will oversee third shift operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsible for leading a team of mechanics to ensure equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and support continuous production. Focused on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, safety compliance, and process improvement to optimize plant performance and efficiency.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Directs the maintenance work force and provides on-site expertise.
  • Ensures that work is accomplished in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Reviews work planning and scheduling with the production planner.
  • Ensures quality of work adhering to all safety standards.
  • Ensure that equipment availability is adequate to meet the production plan.
  • Works with plant or production supervision to ensure any operator performed maintenance duties are facilitated.
  • Works with the Maintenance Manager to ensure all maintenance craft employees are properly qualified and trained for all maintenance work assigned.
  • Enforces environmental regulations.
  • Focuses downward and is highly visible in the field.
  • Champions proactive maintenance vs. reactive maintenance.
  • Administers encouragement and discipline to direct employees.
  • Monitors the CMMS.
  • Implements preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Works with procurement and external vendors for purchase of supplies, parts, and obtaining competitive bids for equipment.
  • Monitors shop qualifications and quality standards for outside contractors.
  • Develops standards for major maintenance overhauls and outages.
  • Manage maintenance team's maintenance budget.

What You’ll Bring

  • 3+ years ofhands-on experience with assembly line machinery including PLC programming
  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Excellent reading, writing and math skills.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and mechanical skills. Be able to read blueprints.
  • Basic computer skills using Excel and Word.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to influence culture from reactive to proactive maintenance methodologies.
  • Must be willing to work off shift hours (as needed)
