Behavior Support Services Practicum Opportunity
About the Role
Are you completing practicum hours for psychology, applied behavior analysis (ABA), social work, special education, or a related field? Woodhaven is offering a practicum-based internship in our Behavior Support Services program. This experience is designed to provide students with hands-on training, professional mentorship, and direct exposure to applied behavior supports in the human services / non-profit industry.

What You Will Do
Observe and assist with the implementation of individualized behavior support plans.Support the use of proactive, person-centered, and positive behavior strategies in home and community settings.Assist with data collection, graphing, and progress monitoring.Participate in case discussions, team meetings, and training sessions.Gain experience in documentation and compliance requirements within the developmental disabilities field.Develop professional skills while working directly with staff and individuals receiving services.About Woodhaven Woodhaven empowers individuals with developmental disabilities and neurodivergent youth to achieve independence and become active members of their community. Our programs include Residential Services, EnCircle Technologies, Community Employment Services, Community Connections Day Programs, and Behavioral Supports. Requirements : Minimum Requirements
Currently enrolled in a psychology, ABA, social work, special education, or related degree program.Seeking practicum, fieldwork, or internship hours for academic credit.Clear, professional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.Enthusiastic, engaged, and eager to learn in a hands-on environment.Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.Practicum Details
Supervision opportunities may be available depending on university / program requirements.Schedule will be coordinated with your academic program to meet practicum requirements.Unpaid practicum placement (with potential for paid employment opportunities after successful completion).
