Network Configuration Manager

USSTRATCOM is a Combatant Command responsible for strategic deterrence, nuclear operations, and enterprise IT services essential to national security. It oversees Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3), Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO), Global Strike, and Missile Threat Assessments, working closely with other Combatant Commands, Services, and defense agencies. SCITLS will be a key component that will ensure mission success and the safety of the U.S. and its allies by providing 24 / 7 IT services and network support for NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS, and SAP / SAR environments.

Job Description :

The Network Configuration Manager will :

  • Manage DHCP scopes and capacity and manage option configuration.
  • Responsible for tracking and reporting IP usage.
  • Design, implement, and maintain computer network configurations.
  • Support the development of an approved network infrastructure baseline and assist with maintaining configuration control and policy management of devices.
  • Ensure optimal performance by analyzing network components, troubleshooting issues, and making adjustments to hardware and software settings.
  • Track network performance metrics like bandwidth usage, latency, and packet loss to identify potential issues.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, policies, and procedures.
  • Forecast future network needs and ensure adequate infrastructure is in place.
  • Ensure network operations adhere to industry standards and regulations.

  • Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree, 3+ years of experience
  • Security Clearance Level : Top Secret with SCI eligibility
  • Required Certifications : ITIL 4 Foundation; CEH or CFR or Cloud+ or GICSP or SSCP or Security+ or GSEC
  • Location : Offutt AFB, NE

    • The likely salary range for this position is $83,429 - $103,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

    Scheduled Weekly Hours : 40

    Travel Required : Less than 10%

    Telecommuting Options : Onsite
