Responsibilities

Provide observation and surveillance of assigned patients.

Monitor patients by use of video monitors.

Communicate and / or instruct patients by use of 2-way audio device.

Notify clinical staff of any changes in patient condition and / or safety risk level.

Complete documentation of observations of patient activities, patient behaviors and other safety & comfort related issues.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration :

BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education :

High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Note : Required professional licensure / certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
