Logistics Project Coordinator

Location : Newark, NJ (Onsite - Full Time)

Salary Range : $80,000 – $110,000

As our internal systems and workflows evolve, we’re looking for a skilled Project Coordinator to help drive forward operational excellence.

Position Overview

This is a highly visible, cross-functional role focused on project planning, ROI analysis, stakeholder coordination, and issue resolution . You’ll lead projects from concept to execution, working closely with logistics, operations, and technical teams. To succeed, you must be highly organized, systems-oriented, and capable of managing escalations and bottlenecks in real time .

The Ideal Candidate

You’re proactive, process-driven, and passionate about logistics and project delivery. You love translating high-level business needs into structured plans. You’re not afraid to ask the hard questions, solve unexpected problems, and take full ownership of project results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with logistics, operations, and shipping teams to define project objectives, timelines, and success metrics
  • Lead project planning cycles from concept through execution, ensuring full readiness for development
  • Drive ROI evaluations to track financial impact and project value
  • Monitor and manage timelines, anticipating roadblocks and adjusting resources as needed
  • Serve as escalation lead for high-priority issues, coordinating quick and thorough resolutions
  • Facilitate communication between departments and with third-party vendors
  • Track performance against KPIs and report regularly to leadership
  • Document key lessons learned and build scalable systems for continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years in project coordination or logistics operations
  • Experience working in a manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain setting
  • Strong analytical and ROI evaluation skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • High attention to detail and time management
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment across departments and vendors

  • Project coordination experience across operations, logistics, or shipping
  • Proven ability to resolve escalated issues under pressure
  • ROI analysis or budget-tracking experience
  • Skilled in planning, scheduling, and cross-functional team alignment
