PepsiCo's Law and Compliance & Ethics function helps to drive business objectives and achieve sustainable business results, while also protecting PepsiCo - legally, ethically, and reputationally. This role will advise the FLNA marketing and business team as it executes packaging, marketing, advertising, and promotions initiatives for its product portfolio in the US. This includes legal evaluations of formulations and ingredients compliance, product claims and labels, new product innovations, marketing and advertising, consumer engagement (promotions and talent and sponsorship agreements).
This is a hybrid role based in Plano, TX and will require coming on site 3 days a week. Relocation is not available. This role reports to the Senior Director, Marketing.
Responsibilities
The role of an Attorney on the Marketing Legal Team is to review and respond to various and numerous requests from the Marketing, Brand or Public Relations teams regarding product labeling, advertising and marketing activations. This role involves escalation from paralegal / legal assistant colleagues in addition to being a primary point of contact for managers within the Marketing and Brand teams. A Marketing Legal Attorney works independently but with the guidance and support of the Senior Director supporting Marketing. This role includes night and weekend work when approvals are required during off-hours events (for example, during the Super Bowl).
